Privacy

The short version: the tools here do not need to know who you are, so they do not ask, and there is no advertising or analytics on the site.

What stays in your browser

Quiz progress, your chosen federal state and translation language for the Leben in Deutschland test, and your light/dark preference are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on the device you used, are not sent anywhere, and are gone if you clear your browser data.

The DICOM de-identification tool goes further: the files you open are read, processed and written back out entirely inside the browser tab. Nothing about a study is uploaded, so there is no server-side copy of it to keep, disclose or delete.

What reaches a server

Quiz questions, country data and football data are fetched from this site's own API as you use the tools. Those requests carry what any HTTP request carries: an IP address, a user agent. They are used to serve the response and to keep the service running.

The DICOM tool's optional “I would use this” button, when you click it, sends one request containing only the name of the feature. We store that name and the time, not your IP address or anything else, and nothing about your files.

Signing in is only needed for the content studio, which is not a public tool. If you have not signed in, there is no account associated with anything you do here.

Third parties

There is no advertising network, no analytics script and no tracking pixel on this site.
